Convivencia
El hombre nace y muere solo. En medio, la vida; y ésta se ha de vivir con otros. Inicialmente conocemos al otro parecido, cercano, familiar; pero una vez que crecemos vamos conociendo los otros diferentes, lejanos. Al otro hay que valorarlo como persona, con sus opiniones, deseos y necesidades que pueden ser completamente diferentes a las nuestras. Y respetar al otro y que el otro te respete.
Cuando ambas partes se respetan se puede convivir, como familia, como compañeros de colegio, como pandilla, como pareja, como vecinos, como ciudadanos, como sociedad. Y cuando se convive, se pueden hacer grandes cosas juntos, proyectos que de manera individual sería inabordables. Como dice el refrán, “un grano no hace granero, pero ayuda a su compañero”.
La sociedad del siglo XXI cada vez tiene menos en común con las sociedades precedentes. Otros de culturas diferentes y de países lejanos, están cerca de nosotros y hay que convivir con ellos día a día. Y esa convivencia extendida a más otros, nos enriquece a nivel individual y engrandece al ser humano.
